Science fiction has far more concerned eugenics and birth limitation than the individual’s non-reproductive choice. Despite the global overpopulation, choosing – definitively or not – not to have children is still a contentious issue and is not recognized as an inalienable human right. Between degrowth and control society, are tensions going to build up?
